Kandu served as a General Contractor on one of my projects at The College of DuPage. The project was a $200,000 Tenant Improvement job consisting of converting an old classroom into a modern high-tech A/ V Speech Teaching Classroom. They worked well with the Professors and myself as Facilities Project Manager in a 22, 000 student College. Kandu managed to keep the noise level down low in a functioning area of the College. The Subcontractors worked exceptionally well with them. They kept the work site clean and organized. Their relationship with The Village of Glen Ellyn was exceptional passing inspection after inspection without any complaints. When given difficult problems to overcome, like a re-cable that was not anticipated, they calmly resolved the issue. They maneuvered their way thru some Design Documents that were challenging to say the least. The job completed on time, and schedule completion obstacles were quickly and efficiently removed. They had only two Change Orders, which were document errors and omissions. I would recommend them to all. We intend to utilize them again, and look forward to working on various other projects in the future. As a Project Manager, it is rare to come across a General Contractor with dedication to the project and the ability to work well with my Clients.
